I have a Nintendo DSI console that I didn’t use for a couple of years prior to last week; when I switched it on it looked completely fine n had no problems at all; the problem appeared when I tried to switch it on 3 days ago and I couldn’t move through the main menu (where the games or settings can be selected) the keys didn’t work at all, except I could open the cam and when I did they worked. Also, the touchscreen isnt working anymore. This may be a very specific problem, since I cant find anything about it on the nintendo site. I tried removing the battery as I saw on some youtube videos, but nothing changes. Can anyone help?

I would contact Nintendo and set up a repair. There are probably the best ones who can help here.

@Tasuki that’s what I was thinking too. Thanks a lot for the reply!

I'm having the same problem as you, has it been fixed yet?

@Ricky-2004 sounds like you might have something stuck under the frame of the touch screen. If something causes permanent constant pressure, then the touch screen input will override other inputs.
