Random These Gorgeous Ace Attorney Movie Posters Do Real Justice To The Games
"I think the time is 3pm"
Ace Attorney, the game about lawyer Phoenix Wright getting his clients acquitted, already has a live-action movie adaptation — and an anime, and a stage production — but all of them were made for the Japanese audience, amongst whom the game is much more popular than in the West. It's unlikely that we'll ever get a...

Back Page We Fed The Ace Attorney Scripts To A Bot, And It Wrote Its Own Court Case
"Your Honor! Please tell me why you want justice!"
A couple of weeks ago, we enlisted the help of a bot (or two) to help us imagine the Nintendo news headlines of tomorrow. After all, AI is probably going to be the new frontier in journalism some day, and we might as well get on board early. However, the results were... mixed at best, with the bot...
Poll What's The Best Ace Attorney Game?
You be the judge
20 years ago, on 12th October 2001, the very first Ace Attorney game was released on Game Boy Advance. Memory Pak When Ace Attorney Pulled A Game Of Thrones-Level Twist
I can't believe they got Sean Bean to play [REDACTED]
Is it even worth doing a spoiler warning for an article that literally has the word "twist" in the title? I will anyway, just in case: This article will contain spoilers for both Game of Thrones and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, as well as probably some of the other Ace Attorney games, but none...
About The Game
Not everyone is innocent until proven guilty! Players star as a defence attorney, who must prove his seemingly guilty client's innocence no matter how dire the circumstances may seem. The game presents twisting storylines and intriguing gameplay in a comical anime style. Players must collect evidence, weed through inconsistent testimonies, and overcome corrupt agendas to ensure that justice prevails. Capcom plans to release Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney across PAL territories this autumn.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney includes the following features:
- Play from the first person perspective through five intriguing cases
- Two distinct gameplay segments:
** Investigation phase - survey crime scenes, interview witnesses and gather evidence that will be used in court
** Court phase - present findings from the investigation to support your case, listen to testimonies, examine witnesses, and determine what is fact from fiction so you can prove your client's innocence
- Colourful cast of characters
** Phoenix Wright - the game's main character who is an accomplished defence lawyer with a keen sense for discerning fact from truth
** Maya Fey - a bright young girl that aids Phoenix in his trials; she is learning to harness her psychic powers which will prove useful in a pinch
** Mia Fey - an ace attorney who taught Phoenix everything she knows about the courtroom and continues to support him as a mentor
** Miles Edgeworth - Phoenix's arch rival, this slick prosecutor has never lost a case; his intense hatred for criminal behaviour drives him to use any means to ensure a guilty verdict
